hey guys!

I'd like to make my little Robo a digging-box (sorry, don't know the english term, in german it's "buddelkiste") I don't want to make an all together big one couse my cage is only 70cm long.

I've read that you could put play-sand, the one you use for sandpits/sand-boxes for kiddies. but wherever I looked I only found 25kg bags and that's a bit too much for a Robo (lol)

I've already read that some ppl use a misture of turf and clay but I've also read that you have to keep the mixture slightly wet and that your hamster might get furr or skin problems couse of little insects that start to grow in there lol.


has anyone got any experiences with digging-boxes, what do you put in there and is there anything I should be aware of?

Bad sarcastic laugh: our group goes Friday. I have all of my lines memorized. (We're doing Taming of the Shrew 4.5; I'm playing Kate.) Today two of the members of my group switched parts, and the botch-it girl hasn't even looked at hers. *headdesks really hard* Yay us.

Good funny laugh: walking up to my building today, I spotted that students had done something to the pillars in front. They were covered in multi-colored small pieces of paper that spelled out a word. The word didn't catch my eye as much as something else that was taped to the pillar.

A gingerbread man cookie was duct-taped to the pillar, smiling face aimed ahead. Another gingerbread man cookie was taped to the first, except with its face turned in, and its head in the other's crotch.

Now I know why gingerbread men are always so happy. XD

Off to write my last big paper. (Excluding my English final. HELL.)
